Crane Mechanical Grab
The mechanical grab typically consists of two or more jaws that can be opened and closed hydraulically or mechanically. The jaws are designed with teeth or other gripping mechanisms to securely hold the material being lifted. The grab is attached to the crane’s hook or boom using a lifting mechanism, such as a wire rope or chain. Crane mechanical grabs are commonly used in various industries, including construction, mining, shipping, and waste management. They are particularly useful for handling loose or irregularly shaped materials that cannot be easily lifted with other types of lifting equipment.
